Shopping

Generally shops are open Monday–Saturday from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm (after siesta). On Saturday afternoons shops are closed. Shopping malls are usually open from 9am to 10pm.

Passport/Visa

Citizens of the European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Canada, USA and Australia do not need visa for entry into Portugal (for stays of up to 90 days). They only need a passport valid for up to 6 months. For citizens of EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland only an Identity Card is required.
