Medical fitness

Before diving in Malta everyone have to fill out the medical questionnaire. Divers over the age of 45 will need a doctor's certificate. Some factors that may disqualify for diving are asthma, diabetes, or epilepsy.

Vaccination

There are no essential vaccination requirements for Malta. However it is advisable to have tetanus and polio up to date.
